Malaga enjoys a pleasant Mediterranean weather, with bright and hot sunny days for the greater part of all the year.

Malaga is one of eight provinces in Andalucia, Spain, and home to the famous holiday resorts of the Costa del Sol.
Stretching from Gibraltar in the far west until Nerja in the east, the Costa del Sol occupies a coastline of
approximately 200 km and includes towns like Marbella, Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Malaga,
Rincon de la Victoria and Velez-Malaga. Malaga is the biggest coastal city of Andalucia with a population
of 600,000 people. It is also known as Costa del Golf because of the high concentrations of world class golf courses.
Summer weather in Malaga
As with most European beach travel destinations, Malaga's high season is during the summer when tourists from countries all over the world join local Europeans taking their annual summer vacation, making it a very,
very busy place. If you are in Malaga during the summer months, it is advisable to bring mostly clothes that will keep
you cool as the weather can be very hot. Summer temperatures can actually reach into the 40C. Most of
the Costa del Sol area enjoys much the same pleasant weather as Malaga, although there are slight local variations

The sea temperature, at an average of 18C-24C in August, allows for the enjoyment of watersports throughout the
year. Malaga is the perfect holiday destination, offering year-round sunny weather & warm winters. During
the summer months, from June to end September, the weather in Malaga is particularly favourable, with low rainfall.
Many people choose to visit Malaga during the winter months, when daytime temperatures average 17C-20C
